He served as a judge in Karnataka Judiciary for 31 years, holding prestigious posts of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Gulbarga; Registrar Lokayukta; Sessions Judge at Bangalore, Dharwad, Tumkur and Director of Karnataka Judicial Academy and other districts and delivered landmark judgements in sensational cases.
He was delegated from Karnataka to the Fellowship in Gender Law at Warwick University, England. He was also delegated to the training programs in National Judicial Academy, Bhopal.
He was Member Secretary of Law Commission of Karnataka, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore, wherein several reports were submitted for amendments to statutes.
He has been actively training judicial officers, revenue officers and police department in Karnataka Judicial Academy. He has been advising hospitals, trusts and other private institutions for their legal queries and he has been conducting arbitrations in Bangalore Arbitration Centre.
